What is a Dental Crown

Crowns can be tailored to individual needs, avoiding the removal of healthy tooth structure and promoting the longevity of the tooth. They are typically recommended for teeth with extensive fillings, fractures, wear from grinding, those that have undergone a root canal, or teeth that are misshapen or discoloured.
Dental Bridges
Dental bridges can have a lifespan ranging from 5 to 15 years, and with excellent oral hygiene and regular checkups, it’s not uncommon for them to last over a decade. Since your natural teeth serve as the foundation for bridges through the placement of abutment crowns, it’s crucial to maintain their health. The presence of crowns or dental bridges doesn’t grant immunity against issues like decay or gum disease in the surrounding areas. To ensure the longevity of your bridges and prevent these problems, establish a robust oral health routine, including brushing your teeth twice daily, daily flossing. Apart from enhancing your smile’s confidence, dental bridges should improve your eating and speech capabilities compared to having missing teeth, although it may take some time to adapt. When eating, especially during the adjustment period, consider consuming soft foods that are cut into smaller pieces for added comfort and ease.

The process of teeth whitening involves the bleach breaking down stains into smaller, less concentrated particles. Initial results can often be seen within 30 to 60 minutes, but the most favorable outcome usually requires multiple visits.
What is the best?
Teeth whitening is a suitable option for individuals with healthy, natural teeth and gums. However, we do not recommend it for those with fillings or false teeth.
